Do you ever find yourself resenting something even as you're doing it? Take washing the dishes as an example. My teenage son loves to tell me how much he HATES washing up. Maybe you hate it too, or maybe there's something else that you've told yourself is boring or not your problem etc.
I say to my son that it's something he is going to have to do for the rest of his life, unless he can make enough money to employ someone to do out for him, so he may as well find a way to enjoy it.
Life is a dance. There are always going to be highs and lows. Quiet moments and moments that are busy and noisy and tough. It would get very boring and there would be no growth if it was all smooth sailing.
So how many parts of your life are you resenting right now? Can you outsource them? If you can't, can you create a reframe in your mind that allows you to enjoy the process, the dance, the results of your effort?
If we take the washing up example, this might be the satisfaction of a clean kitchen or perhaps the feeling of waking up in a clean house with a clear mind rather than waking up to a mess and distracted thoughts?
You're basically creating suffering for yourself if you treat life and the small moments like a burden. Be careful what you're asking for.
