Love each part of yourself to be whole

Over the weekend I began an energy healing course with Charlie Goldsmith. Apart from being an amazing healing experience, it's been a powerful reminder of how when we seperate parts of ourselves that we don't like, often with the desire that they will no longer cause us pain or suffering, they gain more control over us and usually in an unconscious way.
For example, if you were told you were dumb as a child by someone important to you, it might have hurt so much that you decided you never wanted to feel that anymore so you pushed that feeling to the side.
As a way of protecting yourself from the feeling, you then committed to always knowing the answer. You over work and strive to always be right and to always have it figured out. But in doing this, you are never comfortable to put yourself into the position of not knowing or understanding something. You only ever take the safe path.
When you can love that part of you that feels like a dummy, and be comfortable to always feel like that if you have too, you love yourself back into wholeness and the fear of being seen as dumb for not understanding is gone.
The teaching was to welcome back the parts that we have exiled. To love them back to wholeness so that they can work with our integrated self for the good of the whole.
I hope that you can understand this. It's like I've said in class before, our feelings are there to be felt. We don't need to analyse them or even know where they come from, we just need to let them be felt and processed in our body so they don't get stuck. This requires us staying present moment to moment.
So, I'll be needing some people to practice this energy healing on! If you have pain that you are struggling with and are willing to let me try to help, and maybe fail, please reach out.
